2. See a Show
Want to be entertained? Go to a show! Take the kids to the Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show, where you’ll see acrobatic tricks, fire juggling, and eat a 4-course meal! The Lumberjack Feud is another great show. Watch lumberjacks and lumberjills from two families compete against each other in classic lumberjack feats, such as log rolling, axe throwing, and sawing. After the show, you can try some of these at Lumberjack Adventure, an adventure course next to the outdoor pavilion where the show takes place.
3. Try the Top Attractions
When you’re looking for things to do in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, you’ll definitely come across a ton of attractions you should try! If you want to see incredible mountain views and test your bravery, you have to visit Gatlinburg SkyLift Park where you’ll climb Crockett Mountain in a chair lift, walk around on the SkyDeck to see the mountains, and cross the SkyBridge that has glass panels in the middle. Have animal lovers in your group? Take them to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies where you can see penguins, rainforest frogs, and plenty of fish from the ocean. Everyone will love being able to touch manta rays, pick up horseshoe crabs, and touch jellyfish! The aquarium is fun for everyone, not just kids!
4. Visit Theme Parks
Pigeon Forge is home to one of the most popular theme parks in the southeast: Dollywood! This park has entertaining shows, delicious food, thrilling rides, and plenty of shops. Dollywood has something for everyone, so people of all ages will enjoy something the park has to offer. Your kids will love playing games in the Country Fair to win prizes and riding all of the rides they can. FunStop Family Action Park also has a ton of rides your whole group will love!
