During the late 1950s, Gatlinburg’s Reagan Family decided to build a quaint inn downtown. The place they chose was was close to town but in a quiet spot now known as Historic Nature Trail. Their goal was to offer a relaxing retreat for weary travelers where they could find a warm welcome, rest, and enjoy easy access to the mountains and town shops.
Today, The Belle Aire still offers the friendly service where guests feel at home. Much has changed in Gatlinburg since 1958, but The Belle Aire still has the perfect location on Historic Nature Trail, walking distance to a variety of shops, and everything else you love about Gatlinburg.
